Liverpool Girl Geeks Bootcamp - Conclusion
Today we participated in the final session of the Liverpol Girl Geeks Bootcamp.
Talks were held by various women from the tech industry, including employees from BAFTA, IGN and various games studios. The event was filmed by ITV.
Following this, we held group exercises with the girls, first about game design, and then about their possible futures in the tech industry.
At the end of the day, we raffled out a PlayStation Pro, which made one of the girls very happy.
I enjoyed participating and helping the girls learn. A vast majority of them said they wanted to seek a career in the tech industry. A survey was held to find out which part of the programme they enjoyed the most, and it was definitely their visit to Sony.
